I have been very active for most of my life. Since the age of 5, I have participated in some type of sport, including baseball, football, soccer, cross country and track. However, I found my true passion with running. Since the age of 13, I have competed in distances ranging from 200 meters to the marathon. I have raced on the track, roads, trails and mountains. In addition to training and competing myself, I have enjoyed helping others with their running programs and achieving personal-bests in various distances.
Although I started my career as an engineer, I found my professional fit in the field of physical therapy. Prior to entering physical therapy school, I found myself in the physical therapy clinic on several occasions due to various injuries. I loved their ability to get me back to function and back to my sport. So I dumped the calculator and desk and went back to school for physical therapy. Now, I work as an orthopedic physical therapist, treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, joint pain and injuries as well as post surgical conditions.
When I can get myself to break away from my running, I also like to participate in cross country skiing, snowboarding, hiking, cycling and kayaking.

My passion has always been training and coming back from injury. I grew up racing motocross which drove me to my career of being a physical therapist. I have always been fascinated with the human body’s ability to
heal and quite honestly motocross gave me plenty of opportunities to experience this process.
While pursuing my Doctorate in Physical Therapy I discovered yet another true passion, strength and conditioning. I have been fortunate to work with athletes of all abilities ranging from middle school to professional. I completed an internship with the University of Louisville’s Football Team as a strength and conditioning coach which proved to be one of the best experiences of my life. However, while I am thrilled to work with top level athletes, I greatly enjoy working with individuals who are new to fitness and helping them find the drive to take the first step.
Personally, I enjoy a variety of individuals sports such as weight lifting, running, motocross, hiking, trail running and mountain biking. I believe that being well rounded is the key to life and I enjoy frequently changing my training goals and programs in effort to seek new experiences.
